A great deal of the time yeast infections treatments are anti-fungal medicines. Yeast infection is most commonly found in a woman, particularly vaginal yeast infection. They are caused by a fungus, usually candida albicans, that grows rapidly, taking over the normal bacteria found within the vagina.
