Anxiety disorders affect many people around the world. These anxiety disorders can cause a person to go through life terrified by the world around them.

Anxiety disorders can cause a person to feel nervous anywhere and anytime. These people feel that they will die any minute.

People who suffer from it are imagining things.

Many people with these disorders cannot explain what they fear, but they constantly feel anxious about their safety.

Anxiety disorders come in many different forms, and these disorders affect people in different ways. Some people with this type of disorder suffer from anxiety attacks which come on suddenly with serious symptoms.

These people feel like they might die on the spot. Other people with anxiety disorders cannot leave their homes without feeling very anxious.

Some will feel as if someone is choking them causing them not able to breathe.

Some of the inherited these from their parent.

These people need professional help. They can always talk to their GP. The GP will refer them to the appropriate specialist to deal with the matter.

Most professionals know of the medications that are available to help people with this type of disorder. Drug therapies can help them with a constant feeling of fear.

Most of the experts in the field recommend drug therapy combined with some type of counseling by a trained professional. Many people who find relief from anxiety disorders do so with a combination of prescription medicine and counseling.

There are many anti anxiety drug available. Such drugs have few side effects and most have great results.

The large number of people affected by these disorders has prompted further research on this condition.

Kaiser Permanente Study Shows That A Larger Abdomen In Midlife Increases Risk Of Dementia

People in their 40s with larger stomachs have a higher risk for dementia when they reach their 70s, according to a study published in the March 26, 2008, online issue of Neurology(R), the medical journal of the American Academy of Neurology. Previous studies have looked at central obesity (as determined by waist circumference) and body mass index in the elderly and its link to dementia risk.

Dementia Risk In Old Age Linked To Belly Size In Midlife

A new study by researchers from the US and Sweden showed that having a large belly in midlife increased the risk of having dementia in old age, with overweight and obese people with large bellies having double or triple the risk. In other words, while being overweight and obese was a risk factor, the study showed this was significantly affected by where the weight was carried in midlife.
